Use your smartphone as remote for slideshow presentations - How to

Ever wondered how you can use your smartphone as remote during slideshow presentations! Generally during presentations, your laptop is not very near to you to facilitate pressing 'enter' key each time you want to go to next slide; or you have your friend who does it for you when you say.

What could be more cool is - use your smartphone as a remote for power point  presentations. You get on screen keys on your smartphone for next slide, previous slide, start or end presentation and more.

What you need to do is -

1. Install Unified Remote (or other remote controller app) on your smartphone. This app is available for android, iphone and windows smartphones. Other remote control apps are available for other smartphones too.
2. Install Unified Remote Server desktop application on your PC. You can download it from www.unifiedremote.com
3. Launch the application on your phone as well as PC. Now, you are ready to use your smartphone as remote for your PC. Your phone and PC should be connected by Bluetooth or Wi-Fi for remote control to work.

There are many remotes in the application such as Video Player, Power Point Presentation Controller, Music Player and more. You can even use keyboard and control your mouse cursor just by sliding finger on your smartphone screen.
